ECU, or Engine Control Unit, is an electronic device that are found in modern cars which controls the air/fuel mixture, ignition timing and idle speed of an internal combustion engine.

ECU remapping is a proven way to improve and upgrapde the engine maps to unlock the hidden power and economy in your vehicle. Since the introduction of programmable engine control units in 1999 it has been possible to upgrade the maps inside the ECU. We can make changes in the way your car controls power delivery and torque, and safely increasing power and efficiency of your engine by removing restrictive compromises set by the manufacturer.

In addition, we can also carry out DPF (diesel particulate filter) Delete. DPF Delete is sometimes known as DPF remapping. We can remove the problematic diesel particulate filter which allows us to restore your vehicle back to full power as well as turning off the DPF error code. The advantages of removing the DPF is it is a much cheaper alternative to replacement. It also means the problem is gone forever and will never come back. There are additional benefits such as better fuel economy, faster acceleration and more power. We undertake our DPF remapping to a very high standard so that all external appearance of the DPF looks to be still present. This means it will pass any visual inspection.
