The DQ380 (0DE) is a new smaller variant of the DQ500 (0BH) especially designed for the Chinese market.

The DQ380 (0DE) transmission is introduced in 2015 for the Chinese market as a smaller variant of the DQ500. The DQ500 with identification 0BH has provided the basis for the design and function of this new gearbox model. The DQ380 has been specifically designed for front wheel drive cars with an engine torque up to 420Nm like the Chinese Golf 7 GTI and VW Magotan.
